All is well and thankfully sunny at Sayers Croft. The children have been enjoying their activities. Although the Year 3 and 4 children have been completing slightly different activities we have also been able to spend lots of time as a whole mixed group. Yesterday the Year 3's waded through a stream and watched in wonder as Mr Perry submerged himself! The children went through plunge pools and over water falls and ended up thoroughly wet and smelly, they loved it!
They were also enthralled by a Viking saga inside a round house during the night walk. After a relatively late night we emerged slowly, not early, this morning ready for shelter building, orienteering, caving, mini-beast adventures and welcomed some guests for some pond dipping. Tonight, weather dependent we are hoping for a dry camp fire and an early night - we can hope, before some raft building and fun games prior to departing tomorrow. There have been many smiles and laughs by all and I'm sure the children will tell you all about it tomorrow night or perhaps at the weekend - after they have caught up with some sleep!
