We are happy to admit girls and boys at any age and any time during the academic year, provided we have space and they fulfil our entry criteria. Our starting point is the recognition that every child is unique and that your child is special. Like you we want him or her to be happy and successful.
We are flexible with our admissions arrangements and always try our utmost to do what is best for the child in any given circumstance.
We also try to make it as friendly and fun as we can so that we, and you as parents, can work out whether your son or daughter would thrive here. We talk to your child and read their most recent school report, we also discuss the application with you. Our academic tests, which involve some Maths and English, are usually carried out during a 'taster' day which is booked in at a time to suit your convenience.
In these respects we offer an alternative to the restrictive and more rigid entry procedures of some other schools.

Whilst in Preparatory we encourage pupils to apply for the scholarships which become available in the Senior School. They are awarded for academic, sporting, dramatic and artistic endeavour. We also have an 'all rounder' scholarship for aptitude across a number of areas. Scholarships are awarded to encourage a pupil's future academic progress as much as to reward current achievement. For more details please contact the School Office.
