A highly successful Post 16 Careers Evening for Years 9, 10 & 11 was held on Tuesday 15 October 2013. Pupils and their parents had the opportunity to speak with representatives from seventeen different 6th form schools and colleges from local area and surrounds, as well as from London.
Some of our former pupils were able to represent the schools that they have moved to since leaving Babington House School after Year 11. It was lovely to see Samantha Leighton on behalf of Tonbridge Grammar School, Daniela Russo representing Dartford Grammar School, Mabel Chambers from Chislehurst & Sidcup Grammar School, and Jourdain Grover representing Bullers Wood.
Rosie Martin, a former pupil, now at University studying Interior Architecture, also attended, and was able to share with pupils the path she took to reach her aspiration. Their confidence and maturity was evident to see, and they were a credit and worthy ambassadors of Babington House School and to their new schools and university.
Charlotte Hickman, Michaela Hutko and Nikitha Mudumbi, Year 8 pupils, volunteered for the evening to welcome and assist representatives to set up their displays. Our pupils were complimented on how well-mannered and articulate they are.
