Miss Hempstead was the Music Teacher and Georgina had piano lessons when the school was located at North Park, Eltham. Georgina occasionally plays the piano now in her spare time. Georgina won the trophy for Babington House School Junior Champion for her participation in gymnastics in 1950 and 1951 (photograph).
Georgina was one of four girls who attended Babington House School. Her youngest sister attended Babington when it moved from Eltham to Chislehurst. Georgina remembers playing Lacrosse in the school grounds at Eltham and she was a member of House Jellicoe.
