I was at Babington House School from 1971-1978 when the infamous Miss Williams & Miss Manchester were Headmistresses. They used to drive an old Morris Minor. No real facilities in those days for A levels and as I remember just 2 of us left in the upper 6th to take the plunge. Penelope Worsdall was my friend at the time. We both signed up for Biology and English Literature - probably because the Biology lessons were taught at Eltham College - a degree of freedom and excitement previously unheard of at Babington. I think I flunked out after about 6 months due to a family move, but have some fond memories and many tales to tell.
I have just hit 54, I have been married for 32 years and have 2 grown up sons. I live in rural Somerset with plenty of dogs, horses and owls.
