We are happy to admit young people to the Senior School at any time during the academic year, provided we have space and they fulfil our entry criteria. Our starting point is the recognition that every child is unique and should be treated as an individual. Like you we want your child to be happy and successful. We select on academic ability and potential, as well as personal qualities.
We try to make the admissions experience as friendly as we can so that we, and you as parents, can work out whether your son or daughter would thrive here. We talk to your child and read their most recent school report and reference, we also discuss the application with you.
The Year 7 Entrance & Scholarship Examination takes place in November and involves Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths and English tests. These tests assess a pupil's academic ability and potential.
As a school we will award Academic Scholarships based on the results of our entrance tests, school report and school reference.
