LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (maternity cover)
Full-Time, Term time.
Salary: £ 28,359 to £30,673 (pro rata for part-time/term-time)
Actual Salary: £22,687 - £24,538

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our highly successful School for a period of maternity cover. The post will be on a full-time, term time basis, starting in September 2022.

The boys and girls who come to Babington House School receive a first-class education and enjoy coming to school. With a school roll of just over 430, every pupil from 3 to 18 years old is able to make the most of our bespoke approach to education, grow in confidence and maturity and make close friendships. Our school offers a nurturing yet academically challenging environment for our pupils, of which the successful candidate will be expected to foster

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive Learning Support Team and be able to offer learning support, across the whole School.  You will be required to support students predominantly with dyslexia.

The hours of work will be 08.00am to 16.00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent is desirable for this post but not essential, and it is essential to have experience of supporting children with dyslexia or literacy needs in a School setting.

An enhanced DBS check will be required prior to appointment.

ICT TEACHER – PART-TIME 0.6 FTE
Salary Range:  £26,595 - £46,350 (pro rata for part-time)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an outstanding school, where the staff inspire pupils from the Sixth Form right down to the Nursery to achieve excellent results. The pupils at Babington House receive a first-class education and we ensure outstanding quality and exemplary support for the young people we serve.  

At Babington House we provide a learning environment which caters for the needs of each individual and ensures pupils develop new skills, broaden their knowledge and achieve their potential. 

We are currently seeking an outstanding Part-time ICT Teacher to start in October 2022.  You will be part of a strong, dynamic seniors’ team, providing high quality teaching across the School.  You will have excellent subject knowledge, be an effective communicator and have a track record of achieving outstanding academic results for your pupils.

The position will be for 24 periods per week, spread over 3 days.  The days of work for 2022-23 are likely to be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

You will have experience of teaching ICT at both GCSE and A-Level and be passionate about teaching.  You will be committed to providing high quality learning and experiences for all children.  As a member of staff, you will be valued and supported; in return we are looking for commitment, drive and enthusiasm.
