LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (maternity cover)
Full-Time, Term time.
Salary: £ 26,226 (pro rata for part-time/term-time)
Actual Salary: £20,980

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join our highly successful School for a period of maternity cover. The post will be on a full-time, term time basis, starting in September 2022.

The boys and girls who come to Babington House School receive a first-class education and enjoy coming to school. With a school roll of just over 430, every pupil from 3 to 18 years old is able to make the most of our bespoke approach to education, grow in confidence and maturity and make close friendships. Our school offers a nurturing yet academically challenging environment for our pupils, of which the successful candidate will be expected to foster

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive Learning Support Team and be able to offer learning support, across the whole School.  You will be required to support students predominantly with dyslexia.

The hours of work will be 08.00am to 16.00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only.

A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent is required for this post, and it is essential to have experience of supporting children with dyslexia in a School setting.

An enhanced DBS check will be required prior to appointment.

The School now seeks an ambitious and committed Head of Prep to join the Senior Leadership Team from January 2023. The Head of Prep will work to further enhance the educational standards for which the school is renowned, whilst also shaping and implementing the strategy to modernise the learning experience and the School’s culture to ensure that every member of the community flourishes.
