At Babington House we actively promote the wellbeing of all our students. This includes ensuring their physical, mental health and emotional wellbeing are at the forefront of all that we do. From the moment a child joins our Nursery through to the day they leave us, every pupil is known, valued and supported as an individual. Our small class sizes, close-knit community and dedicated pastoral team mean no child is ever just a face in the crowd. Each one is known by name, by personality, and by the things that make them who they are. It is this depth of knowledge, and the trusted relationships built day after day, that allows us to nurture happy, confident children who feel safe, settled and ready to learn.
Pastoral Care
Nurturing Bright Minds
At Babington House School we believe in the importance of valuing all children, regardless of their abilities or difficulties. Providing a broad and balanced curriculum which is differentiated to meet individual needs, that enables all children to reach their potential through effective teaching.
We recognise that every child is wonderfully unique, and that academic progress goes hand in hand with emotional and social development. Our form teachers, supported by our Qualified Teaching Assistants and wider pastoral team, take the time to understand each pupil: how they learn, how they feel, where they shine and where they need a little extra encouragement. This careful, personal attention means that children are not only supported through challenges, but genuinely celebrated for the individuals they are.
