We are happy to admit pupils from 3 to 18 years to the appropriate year group at any time during the academic year, provided we have space and they fulfil our entry criteria. Our starting point is the recognition that every pupil is unique. Like you, we want him or her to be happy and successful.
We try to make it as friendly and fun as we can so that we, and you as parents, can work out whether your child would thrive here. We talk to your child, discuss the application with you and read their most recent school report. Our academic assessments, which involve some Maths and English, are usually carried out during a 'taster' day booked in at a time to suit your convenience.
The Year 7 Entrance Examination will take place on the 2nd December 2023 and involves Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths and English tests. These tests assess a pupil's academic ability and potential.
Sixth Form entry is based on an interview with the Headmaster, references from your current school and a strong GCSE profile.
