Houses

Millie, Cavell House Prefect, with Deputy House Captain Christy, are particularly proud of Cavell’s sporting achievements: “We always win swimming galas and inter-house netball competitions.  We often win Sports Day too.  We enjoy sporting competitions and are proud of everyone that competes.  Everyone always puts in 100% regardless of whether they win and that’s what counts.  We also enjoy the Arts with many Cavell House members enjoying both Art and Drama.”

Isobel and Eva, House Prefect and Deputy of Curie House, both enjoy Drama (pictured here preparing for a GCSE performance) and are proud of their House’s creative achievements:  “We always win the inter-house Christmas Tree competition as we are a creative House full of fun people (who love the colour yellow!) In Preps, Curie won the inter-house rugby competition and we are really proud of our Prep members and how well they work together as a team.  We have fun, we are fair, and we are great at celebrating our achievements.  We are hoping to win the House Points Cup this year too!”

Bella and Sonia, House Prefect and Deputy for Fry House, have the following to say about their House: “For us, one of the highlights of Fry is the fact that we are really good at sports, especially football, and we always win the inter-house football competition.  We are also pleased to be in first place for the House Points Cup so far this year.  We enjoy organising House events and meetings to bring Fry House together.  A member of Fry won the inter-house Babington Bake Off this year and we are really proud of them!”

Nightingale House Prefect Heidi and Deputies Riha and Hassan, had the following to say: “We are a sporty and competitive house and last year we won Sports Day.  We are also known as a kind and friendly House and everyone, especially our Prep members, enjoy our interactive House meetings.  We are aiming to establish a House badminton competition soon to continue our winning streak!”
