Babington House Nursery & Preparatory provides a first class, independent education for girls and boys between the ages of 3 to 11, enjoying small classes with a maximum of 20 pupils.
We try to instill in our pupils a love of learning and a passion for discovery that will last a lifetime. We demand high standards from our boys and girls in dress, behaviour, self-discipline and academic achievement. We also try to make it fun. At Babington House the children enjoy coming to school and relish the challenges we provide, both within the classroom and outside it.
Children may join our purpose built Nursery from the start of the term after their third birthday. They then move on to our Reception class in the September of the academic year in which they turn 5 years of age. The curriculum thereafter in Years 1 to 6 becomes progressively more challenging, normally being at least one year in advance of most state schools. Our qualified teaching staff ensure that all children experience as many learning opportunities as possible; they are challenged to push the boundaries of their potential.
We seek to develop in our pupils the daring, wisdom and confidence to discover their own individuality and to become the very best that they can be.
I am immensely proud to lead such a vibrant community and encourage you to come and see for yourself. Mr Mole, our Head of Nursery and Prep, or I would be delighted to show you around. Please phone our Admissions Registrar on 020 84675537 to arrange a visit.
