Options in Key Stage 2 offer fantastic opportunities for the children to try different skills or activities that they may not have tried before.
Every term the children in Years 3 – 6 will choose an activity that they would like to take part in. There is a list of Options to choose from including activities such as: Horse Riding, Football, Netball, Coding, Construction, Yoga, Community Recruits, Drama and many more. Then once a week, during the school day, the children will go to their respective Options and join pupils from other year groups and classes for new experiences.
Not only do these Options provide experiences outside of the core curriculum, they also give the children skills of teamwork, resilience and developing social skills.
